If you've never seen our house or yard before, you need to know that the side of our house was all grass and weeds this morning. My dad and Philip spent the whole day taking up the sod, moving it to the back yard to even things out, and then placing the stones down to form the sidewalk. It looks really nice. The guys also took a fence from the back yard and put it in front (it's a little picket fence). We plan to paint it white and then plant flowers in front of and behind it. It is going to look so nice! Mom and I shopped for and planted all the flowers. In this post you will see all the work in progress. I will post "finished" pictures tomorrow.

O My Word! Can you say ground like cement? Back-breaking work for the guys, but so well worth the effort. This house continues to become a home with each new dig from the shovel. How fun! What a privilege for us to be here with Pand J!
