Josh had his 4-month appointment this morning. The doctor was very happy with his progress and says he's doing everything a 4 month-old should be doing! (But we already knew that, didn't we? he's a genious!)
Anyway, Josh's new stats are:
weight: 18 lbs 10 oz (97th percentile)
height: 26 1/2 in (90th percentile)--last time he was in the 75th percentile, so he grew a ton...3 1/2 inches in two months!!!
head: 17 in.
He's looking good and is very healthy. He also had his 4 month shots today. What a trooper that little guy is! I was so proud of him. He actually had a good day today too....very sleepy, but not too whiny like the last time. :)
The doctor also told us that Josh is ready for solid food based on his weight and some other factors (he's sitting up straight in his high chair, has good neck strength, and he's TOTALLY watching us when we eat and trying to grab food out of my hands at times. :) ) So, tonight we ventured into unknown territory again and started him on rice cereal. He wasn't quite sure what to think of it at first, but in the end, he seemed to really like it!

Hooray for a great report and praise the Lord for healthy babies! :) Enjoy the beginning of "solids" (if you can call them that)!
