oshua entered our lives five days early on Saturday, August 1 at 4:32 pm after 15 hours of labor, including 30 minutes of hard labor. He was 8 lbs 10 oz and 21 inches long. He is very sweet and we fell instantly in love with him. We think he's the cutest baby in the world. Things have gone fairly well, though Monday night (our first night home) was a bit rough. It's getting better every day, and Joshua is sleeping better every night. We are very tired--as is every new parent--but we're doing well.

Congratulations, Jen! Welcome to the world of parenting - life will never be the same! It will be harder than you ever imagined but more rewarding than you could ever have expected. Enjoy these days because it goes way too fast. I hope labor went well for you and you're surviving the aftermath. :) Again, congrats and all the best.

How delightful to have a child that you are primarily responsible to raise in the admonition, nurture, and discipline of the Lord. What a doll! He is just precious. :) Enjoy the little snuggly-stage because it FLIES by!! Hang in there with the sleep deprivation. (That will get better too.) Lots of love as you enjoy your new little guy!
